Information we collect

When you use our website forms, client portal or mobile app, we collect the information you choose to provide: contact details (name, email, phone, address), tax-related information needed to prepare your file (for example income details and household information), and documents you upload. Sensitive identifiers such as your Social Insurance Number are never required on public forms; you may provide them later through the authenticated client portal.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your request, prepare and file your taxes, manage your client file, and communicate with you about your file. With your separate consent, we may also send you our newsletter with tax tips and deadline reminders; you can unsubscribe at any time.

Where your information is stored

Form submissions and uploaded documents are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our client management and portal system. Access to client files is limited to the people who work on them.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that support our operations (such as our portal platform), with government tax authorities as required to file on your behalf and with your authorization, or where the law requires it.

Retention

We keep client records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal and professional record-keeping obligations, after which they are securely deleted.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, such as remembering your language preference. We do not use cookies to sell or trade your browsing data.

Your rights and choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to communications, by writing to [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Mobile app

Our mobile app is a secure window into the same client portal, and this policy applies to it equally. The app does not collect information beyond what you submit through your portal account.
